After graduating from University of Alabama School of Law Jason began his legal career working for the Office of the Public Defender in West Palm Beach, Florida.Contact Now
After rising through the ranks of the office, ending his tenure at the West Palm Beach Public Defender's Office as a Felony Division Supervisor, Jason, his wife and children moved to the panhandle of Florida, settling in Pensacola. Jason joined the Office of the Public Defender in Pensacola as the Misdemeanor Chief, Director of Training and Recruitment, and as one of the office's only Death Penalty lawyers. One of Jason's numerous job responsibilities was to teach and provide his analysis of new case law and statutory changes to all the Office's attorneys in both the misdemeanor and felony divisions. As a member of the National College for DUI Defense he is widely considered one of the foremost authorities on DUI laws and keeps current on the constant changes that occur to DUI laws in Florida and the Pensacola area. In addition, as the Misdemeanor Division Chief, he was charged with not only training new attorneys but also handling problematic cases, issues and crises that occur within the five county court divisions, often having to meet with various judges, public defenders and prosecutors to resolve conflicts or problems.
During the past few years Jason has developed a reputable Appellate and Post Conviction practice.
He has handled appeals, writing briefs and post-conviction matters from County to Circuit Court, before the First District Court of Appeals, which is the appellate court having jurisdiction over Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa and Walton County Cases, as well as doing the same legal work before the Fourth District Court of Appeals in South Florida. In addition to state court trial and appellate work Jason has authored briefs to the United States Eleventh Circuit Court of Federal Appeals, the Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals and the Alabama Supreme Court. He is licensed to handle matters in both Federal and State Courts in Florida.
After spending the past year exclusively handling personal injury and car accident cases with Michles &Booth, P.A., Jason has once again returned to private practice.
Ashley N. HollandAssistant, #2, my right arm
She is, in short, the grease that keeps the wheels of this law firm turning. She's the reason I can bury my head in my caseload and know the lights will still be on when I come up for air because someone remembered to pay the electric bill.Contact Now
Ashley N. Holland was born and raised in the small Alabama city of Andalusia. She is a 2005 graduate of Andalusia High School, which was founded in 1899. With one older brother, Ashley is the eldest of three girls and comes from an extended tightly knit family. In 2016, she moved to Pensacola to complete her college degree. Shortly after moving, Ashley was afforded the opportunity to broaden her horizons in a field she has grown to love, the legal and criminal field. Her legal experience lies in the areas of Criminal, Defense, Estate Planning, Probate, and Guardianships. Ashley served well over ten years as a Public Relations Official for a nonprofit organization, something she took pride in and loved. Though uprooting herself from what she has always known as home seemed unnerving, Ashley is thrilled to be in an area with so much room for opportunity and growth.
When not at the office, Ashley enjoys spending time with her nephews and goddaughters. She also enjoys weekends back home, with friends and family (and friends that are like family), enjoying the finer things in life. Some of the things she enjoys most are cooking, smoking bar-b-que with her father, hunting, fishing, summer weekends on the beautiful Gantt Lake, and random beach getaways.

appeals & post-conviction
A conviction doesn't necessarily mean the book has been closed on your case. In many instances it's just another chapter. Don't give up. Call me.
Don't settle with an attorney whose only interest is a quick settlement. I do everything I can to make sure the settlement you do get is the best possible one you can get.
